This page explains why the information you share through the dotCREA website is processed and how it is stored.

What information do we collect?

Through the quote and contact forms we receive your name, e-mail address, telephone number, store address and whatever you choose to tell us about your project. We process this information only when you send it.

When you place an order we also collect your billing details (billing type, address, and where required a tax or identity number); these are necessary to record the order and issue the invoice.

Technical data about site usage (browser type, page view counts and the like) is assessed in aggregate and is not linked to individuals.

How do we use it?

The information you share is used to respond to your enquiry, discuss scope, prepare a quote and fulfil an order you place. We do not send marketing messages without your consent.

Payment information

Your card details never reach us and are never stored on our systems. Depending on the provider in use, the payment step is completed on a secure page operated by PayTR or by Paddle.

For payments taken through Paddle, Paddle acts as merchant of record and processes payment and invoicing data under its own privacy policy and its own responsibility.

All that comes back to us is the outcome of the payment (successful or failed), the order number and the amount.

Sharing with third parties

Your information is not sold to third parties or transferred for marketing purposes.

It is shared, only to the extent necessary, with the service providers required to run the service (hosting, payment provider, e-mail and analytics infrastructure). It may also be shared with competent authorities where there is a legal obligation.

Retention

Records relating to quote processes are kept for a reasonable period after the discussion concludes and are deleted once no longer needed. Order and invoice records are kept for the retention periods required by law.
