What does this service cover?
A live store is not static: Shopify releases new versions, apps update, integrations stop quietly, and load changes during campaigns. None of that manages itself.
A maintenance retainer makes that work regular and predictable: a fixed monthly scope, a defined response time, and a report each month showing what was done.
Monitoring: the item that earns its keep
The most expensive way an integration fails is not by throwing an error but by stopping quietly. That is what the monitoring is for:
An alert when order, invoice or shipping flows move outside expected volumes
Regular review of failed payment and undeliverable shipment reports
Tracking API version calendars and updating in good time
Keeping an eye on SMS and email sending balances
Campaign period preparation
Load multiplies during certain weeks of the year, and that is exactly when problems cost the most. What we do beforehand:
Reviewing stock sync frequency and buffer stock rules
Testing the payment and shipping flow under load
Testing the campaign rules
Having the rollback plan ready: what happens if something goes wrong, in writing
How we work
01
Handover
An inventory of the store, theme, apps and integrations is taken, and access is organised.
02
Monitoring setup
Alerts and reports are set up for the critical flows.
03
The monthly cycle
Versions are tracked and development hours are spent on priorities agreed together.
04
Reporting
Each month we share what was done, what is being monitored and the list of recommendations next in line.
