Shopify store setup: delivered ready to sell

By the time your store goes live it is ready to take orders, issue invoices and print shipping labels. We put the scope of the setup in writing up front.

What does this service cover?

Opening a Shopify store is technically a day's work; what really decides the outcome are the decisions made during setup. How product data is held, how collections are built and when analytics is switched on are the three things that cost the most to change later.

We run the setup in that order: first the structural decisions that are expensive to reverse, then theme and content, and only at the end plan and cost optimisation. That way nothing has to be redone after launch.

The backbone of the setup: the product data model

Because the cost of fixing this compounds as the catalogue grows, it is where we spend the most time. We decide up front where each piece of product information lives:

SKU and barcode scheme: stock, shipping, accounting and marketplace matching all hang off it
A variant is only used for something held in separate stock; colour and size are variants, gift wrapping usually is not
Dimensions, material, compatibility and warranty live in their own fields, not buried in the description
Product naming is standardised: brand, model and the distinguishing attribute

Once those fields are set up, the same source feeds the product page, the filters and the structured data.

The Turkey-specific items

The topics that guides written abroad skip, and that every store here needs:

Payments: because Shopify Payments is unavailable in Turkey, a local provider setup and an instalment table
The e-archive / e-invoice flow, and the decision on when the invoice is issued
Carrier integration, volumetric weight calculation and the free-shipping threshold
Distance sales, returns, data protection and cookie notices ready before launch
If you will send commercial messages, İYS registration and a consent capture flow

How we work

01
Scope and inventory
Product count, variant structure, required integrations and the state of your content are established; the scope is written item by item and a fixed price given.
02
Structural decisions
Domain and URL structure, the product data model, collection architecture and the analytics plan are approved together.
03
Setup
The theme is installed and adapted to your brand, products are uploaded, payment and shipping rules defined, and required pages prepared for launch.
04
Testing
A real order is placed with a real card: payment, invoice, shipping label and the notification chain are tested end to end.
05
Launch and training
The domain is connected, analytics verified, and day-to-day use of the admin handed over to your team.

Frequently asked

For a standard store on an off-the-shelf theme, three to six weeks is typical. What usually stretches it is not the software but delays in the items that have to come from you: product images, copy and the payment provider application.
