Öz Natur: theme integration and store architecture for a wide catalogue
Öz Natur is a brand selling traditional food and natural products in Germany: cheese, dried fruit, vinegar, honey, olive oil, spices, pickles, Turkish delight and natural cosmetics. For a catalogue spread across more than forty categories, we integrated the theme into the store, built the category and campaign structure, and put in place the price and shipping information layout the German market expects.

What we inherited
- The catalogue is wide and deeply split: from cheese to vinegar, dried fruit to cosmetics, more than forty categories.
- The customer base falls into two groups living in Germany: German speakers and Turkish speakers.
- Campaigns change constantly, and the discount rate has to appear correctly both in listings and on the product page.
- German food retail requires unit price, VAT and shipping information to be shown alongside the product.
Our goal
- Make a wide catalogue browsable without getting lost in it.
- Make discounted products instantly recognisable on the storefront and in listings.
- Get the store working in three languages.
- Display price information in the form the German market expects.
Theme integration and store architecture
- The theme was integrated into the store and reworked to the brand's colour and typography language.
- A mega menu carrying over forty categories was built, with trending, new and discounted products placed at the front.
- Search was positioned as a permanent element in the top bar; in a catalogue this wide it is the most used entry point.
- An accessibility tool and language selector were placed in the top bar.
Catalogue and home page
- The home page was split into category shelves: discounted products, best sellers, cheeses, fruit pulp and köme, value packs, pickles, vinegars.
- Product cards were built with a discount badge, star rating and price information together.
- Value packs (multi-buy) were built as a separate shelf; that is the line item that lifts average order value.
- Customer reviews were published on the home page as a social proof section.
Product page
- Discount rate, star rating, stock status and key features were gathered into the purchase area on the product page.
- A “frequently bought together” section recommends complementary products on the same screen.
- A price and add-to-cart bar was pinned to the screen on mobile.
- Payment options common in Germany, such as Klarna, were made visible on the product page.
German market requirements
- Unit price (per litre/kilogram) is shown alongside the price on every product.
- The VAT-inclusive statement and shipping information sit under the price, linked to the shipping terms page.
- German, English and Turkish language options were set up.
- Shipping, returns, privacy and right-of-withdrawal pages were wired into the store flow.
Result
A catalogue spread across more than forty categories became a browsable store through its mega menu and category shelves. Discounted products stand out in listings, complementary products are recommended on the product page, and price information appears in the form the German market expects.
