Hepsiburada Shopify integration

Hepsiburada listing, stock and order integration.

What does this integration do?

With the Hepsiburada integration, products are listed, stock and price are updated in real time, and incoming orders are managed in a single flow on the Shopify side.

The data it synchronises

Product listing
Stock / price updates
Order retrieval
Shipping notifications
Returns processes
Category mapping

How the data flows

01
Catalogue matching
Products are matched on barcode; Hepsiburada's category and required attribute structure is linked to your product fields.
02
Listing and approval
New products are submitted for listing; records pending approval or rejected are tracked in a separate list. Without that tracking, missing listings go unnoticed.
03
Stock and price
The channel price is calculated with commission and shipping cost. During campaign pressure the price floor is protected.
04
Order flow
Orders are transferred to Shopify tagged with their source; shipping runs in the platform's flow and duplicate customer notifications are prevented.
05
Returns and reporting
Stock is written back on returns; monthly reconciliation is done against commission and settlement reports.

What we watch for in this integration

If listing approval is not tracked, part of the catalogue is assumed to be on sale while it is not live
Commission rates differ by category; pricing has to be worked out per category
Stock must be fed from a single source, with no manual intervention in the panel
Product image rules vary by channel; images are prepared to those rules
Lead time and delivery commitments are set against your operational capacity

The setup process

01
Data and permission analysis
We decide which data flows in which direction, which system is the master, and what API permissions are required.
02
Mapping table
Product, variant, category, warehouse and account fields are mapped between the two systems, one by one.
03
Development and testing
The integration is built on a development store; order, return and error scenarios are tested with real data.
04
Going live
It is released through a controlled switchover, watched closely for the first few days, with the error queue monitored.
05
Monitoring and maintenance
Logging, error alerting and API version updates continue under the maintenance retainer.

What we need from you before we start

Hepsiburada seller account and API credentials
Barcode and stock code scheme
Commission rates by category
Channel pricing policy
Lead times and carrier agreement

Frequently asked

Usually because required category attributes are missing. If we hold those fields as structured data on the Shopify side, listing becomes largely automatic, and we produce a checklist for the fields that are missing.
