What does this integration do?
The İletiMerkezi integration runs SMS sending and commercial messaging consent in the same flow. Customer records created in Shopify are matched with their consent status; campaign messages never go to a number without consent, while transactional notifications continue uninterrupted.

How the data flows

Templates are separated
Transactional and commercial templates are kept in separate groups, and the consent each template requires is documented.

Consent sync is set up
Consent collected in the store is written to the national consent system, and opt-outs recorded there are read back into the store. One-way setups accumulate risk over time.

Event-based sending
Informational messages go out automatically on order, shipping and return events.

Campaign sending
Commercial sends are filtered against the consented list, with an automatic opt-out check before sending.

Compliance record
Who received which message under which consent, and when, is logged; the burden of proof sits with the store.
What we watch for in this integration
If consent sync is only one-way, there is a risk of messaging a customer who has opted out
Template copy must state the brand name explicitly
The gap in consent between the two systems should be reported regularly and kept close to zero
Campaign frequency directly affects the opt-out rate, and that rate is a quality indicator
The setup process

Data and permission analysis
We decide which data flows in which direction, which system is the master, and what API permissions are required.

Mapping table
Product, variant, category, warehouse and account fields are mapped between the two systems, one by one.

Development and testing
The integration is built on a development store; order, return and error scenarios are tested with real data.

Going live
It is released through a controlled switchover, watched closely for the first few days, with the error queue monitored.
